Put down your pitchforks and lower your torches — for now. Julia Lemigova has offered up an apology to Guerdy Abraira following their nasty feud on The Real Housewives of Miami, which saw Julia pouring water all over her former friend. The apology arrived during the latest episode of Watch What Happens Live, but is it enough to smooth things over? Take a look for yourself.
Julia Lemigova says throwing water on Guerdy Abraira is not her “character”
The drama between Julia and Guerdy took a turn for the worse in Season 7 Episode 3, when Julia threw water on Guerdy while the rest of the cast just sat and watched. During the July 30 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Julia claimed that she felt “confused” about what caused the beef, but she finally gave Guerdy the apology she deserved, albeit through the TV screen.
“There hasn’t been a day when I haven’t thought about it, and it’s totally not in my character,” Julia told Andy Cohen. “I was out of line, my emotions got a hold of me.”
Then, Julia looked directly into the camera and shared a message to Guerdy. She looked so hard into the camera that it almost felt like she was reading from a teleprompter.
“Guerdy, if you are listening to me tonight, I want to say I’m very, very sorry, even though I apologized to you already,” Julia remarked.
She continued, “I understand that I caused you a lot of pain, and I’m very sorry for it. Even though we kissed and made up later on, I know that probably watching the show brought a lot of bad memories, and I’m really looking forward to seeing you at the reunion to hopefully put it all behind us and finally move on.”
