More details are emerging about the tense scene that played out between Denise Richards, Aaron Phypers, and his family. Unfortunately, it’s extra messy.
The cops arrived at their Calabasas home, where Denise supposedly arrived unannounced and looking to retrieve her dog. Allegedly, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star went into the house and nearly got physical with Aaron’s family. The situation left them feeling shaken up, but Denise’s lawyer shared another side to the story.
Denise Richards unexpectedly turned up at Aaron Phypers’ home
An important wrinkle to this story is that weeks ago, Denise filed a restraining order against Aaron. She claimed that she was a victim of physical abuse. With that in mind, Aaron said he felt concerned seeing Denise pull up at the house. He didn’t want to violate the restraining order, so he left through a side door as things escalated.
After fleeing the house, Aaron dialed 911. People got a hold of the dispatch audio, and the emergency dispatcher can be heard saying that Aaron “fears for his parents.”
Meanwhile, the RHOBH star was allegedly in the home, yelling at the family and telling them to leave. As a reminder, we learned on Denise Richards & Her Wild Things that Aaron’s family got permission to stay in the house temporarily. They wound up staying for over three years.
All things considered, the cops determined that nothing criminal happened, and Denise’s lawyer argued that she had every right to be there. He said that Denise had to go to the property to retrieve her dogs after learning that Aaron “had put down one of her other dogs without her knowledge or permission.”
It’s a wild accusation, but Aaron said it wasn’t true. He released a statement slamming Denise and the attorney. We’re still over here feeling concerned about these dogs.
“Denise’s attorney has consistently struck out in pursuit of the truth. There is a difference between telling the truth and trying to protect your client,” Aaron said.
“Having the title of attorney or being a celebrity does not put you above the law,” he continued. “It does not give you the right to humiliate others for the sake of your interests. Both of these actions have been readily apparent here in the last couple of weeks.”
