Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp has kept fans updated about her cancer journey. Teddi is battling stage 4 melanoma, which has spread to her brain and lungs. She has undergone brain surgery, radiation, and other therapies to combat the cancer. Meanwhile, Teddi’s grace and courage have been admirable as she continues to fight the cancer.
Thankfully, Teddi was given some good news. So, what are her chances of beating the cancer? “I would say probably 50-50,” she previously shared. However, as a mom of three, Teddi is determined to win this war. And she has plenty of people in her corner.
Teddi Mellencamp wouldn’t return to RHOBH right now
Recently, Teddi was a guest on the podcast, The Jamie Kern Lima Show. When asked if she would return to RHOBH right now, Teddi was a pass. “Yeah, no,” Teddi said. “I don’t have the bandwidth for it right now. I’m not somebody that likes to do something when I can’t be good at it.”
She continued, “I feel like my words are a little stuttery sometimes, and it doesn’t mean I’m telling a lie.” Then Teddi noted that after having the same brain surgeries, some patients have to relearn to speak.
“The fact that I can do as much as I can do, I’m so blessed for,” she explained. “But it still happens to me, and some days are very bad. Some days, I’m just stumbling word over word.” Teddi added, “I don’t think it would be the best for the cast, and it wouldn’t be the best for me right now.”
As for a TV return? Teddi is interested, but not in holding a diamond again. “I enjoy it so much now that I recap it,” she said, referencing her podcasts with Erika Jayne and Tamra Judge. “I don’t know that I need to be on that particular show again. But I would love to be on TV in some capacity,” the RHOBH alum added.
