Gina Kirschenheiter Says Katie Ginella Makes RHOC Cast Feel ‘Unsafe’

Katie Ginella’s decision to film Shannon Beador during a particularly vulnerable moment has her on the outs with most of the Real Housewives of Orange County cast. And it seems unlikely that she will recover from it. Especially with the subject of the content.

The audio clip, recorded at a cast photo shoot for Season 18 captured a distraught Shannon. If that weren’t bad enough, Katie then shared it with her husband. However, Tamra Judge told the group that Jennifer Pedranti also heard it. Worse, that she sent it to Alexis Bellino. So it’s no wonder that hard feelings linger. Gina Kirschenheiter shared her thoughts in a recent interview.

Gina told Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast that her RHOC costars feel “unsafe” around Katie now. And the real estate agent questioned the thought process, calling Katie’s decision to record “icky” and “violating.”

“It’s never bad enough to record anyone. It would never be my instinct. And I think the fact that that’s her instinct is what the problem is. When your instinct is [to] record? Problem! It’s just as simple as that, right?” she explained.

The Long Island native added, “With that said, I mean, I didn’t hear it, but I’m quite certain that Shannon probably was losing her sh*t. But she also was having, like, the worst year of her life.”

Gina advised Katie that the best course of action would have been to “go into the next day of filming and tell Shannon.” Had she done that, the mother-of-three thinks Katie would have had a “better trajectory” this season.

“I just think her instinct is different than what the show really calls for,” she concluded.

Catch The Real Housewives of Orange County Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
