The allegations that Tamra Judge “roofied” Gretchen Rossi on a Season 4 episode floored the entire Real Housewives of Orange County cast. Tamra told her long-time nemesis that Katie Ginella spread the rumor to SiriusXM radio host Kiki Monique. However, Gretchen did not believe that the sophomore reality TV star perpetuated the gossip. She also denied telling her that Tamra “roofied” her at the “naked wasted” party in 2008.
Tamra temporarily quit RHOC in a very public way after that dinner. She couldn’t believe that Gretchen took Katie’s side in the matter. Gina Kirschenehiter called out her behavior, and questioned whether her costar was “sloshed.” Heather Dubrow tried to diffuse the situation, but Tamra chose to leave the table. Now, the RHOC veteran is discussing how confusing the whole situation was.

Heather told Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea podcast that she didn’t feel she had a full grasp of the situation because the “naked wasted” party “predates” her time on RHOC. She joined the cast in 2012.
“We didn’t have the benefit of knowing what happened in that conversation. So you have to understand, I had no context,” the actress explained.
What the RHOC ladies did know was how deep Tamra and Gretchen’s feud went. Many of the ladies were not surprised that Gretchen would side with Katie. But Tamra’s reaction upon briefly returning to the table was shocking.
“When Tamra came back in the room, I was like, ‘What happened?’ I thought a skipped a chapter in the book. I had no idea what was going on,” she recalls. “As a matter of fact, after I watched it, Gina [Kirschenheiter] texted me and was like, ‘Now do you understand what happened?’ I go, ‘I think so?’”
Heather also reflected on how Katie’s relationship with the rest of the cast could have been different, had she focused more on her family life.
“And you know what the bummer is? Katie came in sort of hot on me last year, granted. But I was excited to get to know her and I think she is so beautiful, she obviously has a lovely family and a great relationship [with her husband, Matt Ginella],” Heather explained.
She concluded, “I wish she had leaned into all of that and just let us get to know her without the nonsense. That would have been so much better.”
