One of the most shocking moments from the Real Housewives of Potomac Season 10 trailer was Mauricio Umansky popping up, seemingly as a guest of Gizelle Bryant. The moment left everyone wondering the same thing: what in the world is he doing here? Thankfully, his estranged wife Kyle Richards, just offered up an explanation.
What does Kyle Richards think of Mauricio Umansky and RHOP star Gizelle Bryant?
As Bravo’s The Daily Dish reported, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star recently did an Amazon Live along with her daughter, Alexia Umansky. Fans submitted questions, and someone asked Kyle if she saw Mau in the RHOP trailer. Kyle said, “I did.”
“What?” Alexia replied, seemingly hearing this information about her dad for the first time. “Why is he in that?”
That’s why we’ve all been trying to figure out, Alexia! Luckily, Kyle had the answers, and it definitely tracks. According to the RHOBH star, the ladies of RHOP filmed a cast trip in Aspen. Of course, they quickly bumped into Mau. He’s been spending a lot of time in the Colorado ski town, canoodling with models and whooping it up as a single guy.
Although Mau’s RHOP cameo was a surprise to fans, it didn’t come as a surprise to Kyle. She said Gizelle gave her a heads-up that they ran into him in Aspen, so there shouldn’t be any hard feelings there.
“Gizelle sent me a DM, saying, ‘Oh, we bumped into him,’” Kyle added. “Yeah, he’s in the trailer.
It doesn’t sound like Mau’s appearance on RHOP is anything more than just a cameo, but in the world of Bravo, you never know. In the trailer, Stacey Rusch accused Gizelle of having a secret boyfriend, right before it cut to Mau greeting Gizelle with a huge grin on his face.
The Real Housewives of Potomac premieres on Sunday, October 5 at 8/7c on Bravo. Stream it the next day on Peacock or Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
