It’s going to get worse before it gets better. Denise Richards is adding some new requests in her ongoing divorce from estranged husband Aaron Phypers. The actress and reality TV star is now asking Aaron to pay spousal support and is requesting that the court terminate its ability to award him support.
It looks like this divorce will continue to drag out and get messy. Since the couple imploded last July, it’s just gotten worse and worse. The accusations continue to emerge, making it difficult to keep up.
Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers’ divorce takes another turn
To quickly recap, Aaron initially filed for divorce right as his financial issues began to surface. He cited irreconcilable differences and asked for spousal support from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum. She initially seemed shocked at this, but then hit back with her own revelations.
She alleged that Aaron was both emotionally and physically abusive during their marriage and asked for a restraining order. He then claimed that she had an affair.
Now, according to PEOPLE Denise is requesting spousal support and that Aaron be responsible for her attorney’s fees. She stated that the “full nature and extent” of her “separate property assets and debts are unknown at this time.”
Aaron responded, “Denise is trying to humiliate me again, just as she did with her first ex, Charlie Sheen, six years ago today! It’s the same vengeance playbook as Charlie said. I, too, will be vindicated when the truth comes out. Our family has been ruined by Denise’s lies of promising to end a year-long affair.” Denise’s team denied these ‘false allegations.”
For his part, Aaron said he hasn’t made income since 2024 when he had to close down his wellness company. He further claimed that Denise earns more than $250,000 a month from her OnlyFans account, TV work, and brand deals. He claims their monthly expenses are roughly $105,000, mostly spent on eating out, groceries, childcare, and clothes.
Aaron is asking for spousal support along with his power tools, motorcycle, and sports car. In her filing, Denise asks the court to terminate its right to award this. Looks like things are about to get much messier between these two.
