The Season 6 premiere of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City did not disappoint. There was comedic interlude, some bickering, and a very honest admission from Whitney Rose regarding her business failure. It was a moment that Andy Cohen and Angie Katsanevas praised during a recent interview.
The stage was set for drama. The gals were enjoying time together around the campfire on a less than luxurious RV trip. Britani Bateman, in an attempt to defend Lisa Barlow, started going after Whitney. Rumors were swirling that her jewelry line was having difficulties.

Angie appeared on the September 16 episode of Watch What Happens Live to tease the new season. She and Andy agreed that what Whitney said at the campfire about the state of her finances was “brave and honest.“
Being a witness to it all, and how Whitney was able to garner sympathy despite Britani’s attempts to bait her, Angie had nothing but praise. Further, she “loved” Whitney’s vulnerability in that moment.
“We were surrounded, at the campfire, by business owners, women who have taken risks, entrepreneurs who have had visions, and I think we felt that,” Angie explained.
“I think the whole world can relate to putting themselves out there,” Angie continued. “I was so proud of her, and it showed her vulnerability and the friendships in the group. And she received a lot of support. So I love that for her.”
Whitney did confirm the issues to the group in a very humble way. Additionally, she admitted her own “failure“ to herself, her family, her employees, and customers. 30 employees were laid off, and thousands of disappointed customers. There were “millions” in losses as well.
“Now we have nothing,” Whitney told the group.
