Mary Cosby and Angie Katsanevas made a humorous duo on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6 premiere. Their Class A Getaway proved anything but. They clearly didn’t plan that trip together. However, the vibe between them was very endearing and amusing.
It’s the lighter side of their friendship on display. In RHOSLC Season 5, Angie offered tremendous emotional support. Mary was just coming to terms with her son, Robert Cosby Jr.’s, addiction battle. And Angie was the sole cast member that she confided in. But the Season 6 trailer indicates conflict between them. Certainly, friendships can be expected to evolve.

Angie spoke about where she and Mary are currently at during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live. Host Andy Cohen was taking questions from the audience. And a Real Housewives of Salt Lake City fan commented on Angie and Mary’s “beautiful and special friendship,” certainly a highlight of last season. She then asked if “is there anything you’ve learned from the friendship that surprised you?”
“We’re both learning to be more honest in the friendship. We’re learning boundaries and honesty. And that’s it, you know,” the RHOSLC favorite replied.
Viewers will recall the frosty exchange between the two when they first started filming together. Mary went so far as to avoid being anywhere near Angie. A bit of teasing from the original RHOSLC star, and Angie taking it all in stride and always showing up with grace. Now, look how far they’ve come.
“It’s a sisterhood and I love Mary,” Angie said on WWHL. “And I think we’re just growing and evolving like anyone would. We’re in our fifties you know. It’s a new friendship and I love Mary.”
She added, “we’re both learning forgiveness.”
