Brittany Cartwright is wading into the autism controversy. Donald Trump and his administration divided the population of America earlier this week. The President announced a supposed link between the use of Tylenol during pregnancy and autism.
Brittany is pushing back on the “misinformation” on social media. As the proud mother of a son on the spectrum, The Valley star is particularly passionate about the matter. And her former co-star, Stassi Schroeder, has her back.
Brittany Cartwright says America’s children “deserve better”
Queens of Bravo shared Brittany’s post on X. In solidarity with The Valley star, they captioned the post, “Brittany (!!!) is standing on business and Stassi has her back like a real sister!” And the Vanderpump Rules alum is clear in her message.
“Autism was recorded before Tylenol was ever invented. There are many children on the spectrum who never had vaccines or whose mothers didn’t take Tylenol while pregnant. The word ‘virtually’ is used many times here because there are obviously still cases of autism in those communities as well,” Brittany wrote.
Her four-year-old son, Cruz, was diagnosed with autism last year after experiencing speech regression around his second birthday. The VPR alum has worked incredibly hard to get Cruz all the therapy he needs to reach his full potential.
She concluded her message, “I am thankful autism is being looked into and hopefully someday we can learn more, but our children are wonderful and deserve better than misinformation by our own government.”
Brittany’s words got a series of clapping hand emojis from Stassi. It’s an encouraging gesture from the New York Times bestselling author. She and Brittany had conflict after the latter and her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, missed Stassi’s 2022 wedding in Italy. Perhaps the supporting message indicates thawing relations between the VPR alums.
