Although she’s no longer on Real Housewives of New York, you can’t keep Luann de Lesseps off of TV! She’s back on our screens, and showing off her acting chops in the hit Canadian series Murdoch Mysteries. The Season 19 premiere is right around the corner, and Lu will be front and center. Just like an episode of RHONY, she said we should expect “fireworks” and “flirting,”
Luann de Lesseps heads back to the Canadian hit show
On Murodch Mysteries, Luann plays the role of Noelle Victoria. A role written just for her, she first appeared in Season 18. Notice how the character’s name, “Noelle Victoria,” is actually a reference to her kids?
Noelle is the “glamorous and cunning” wife of Toronto’s mayor, Chadwick Vaughan. In Season 18, she briefly appeared during a scene, posing alongside her husband at the grand opening of a hydroelectric substation. She had a flirty little exchange with Detective Murdoch, which you can watch in the above clip. This season, it sounds like she could have a slightly bigger role in the plot. People got a sneak peek.
“With secrets of her own and an axe to grind against her husband, Noelle just might hold the key to saving Murdoch and his team — but whether she’s there to help or play a bigger game remains to be seen,” the outlet teased.
Murdoch Mysteries has been a staple in Canadian television for years, having recently celebrated its 300th episode. With that in mind, Luann felt thrilled to return for Season 19.
“When I first joined Murdoch Mysteries, I was blown away by how much fun it was to step into this incredible world,” Lu said. “The costumes, the drama, the intrigue — it was fabulous, and the cast and crew were so welcoming and supportive! I couldn’t be more excited to return as Noelle Victoria and stir things up even more this season.”
She continued, “Let’s just say, viewers should expect some fireworks — and a lot of flirting.”
Murdoch Mysteries Season 19 premieres in Canada on October 6 on CBC. In the US, you can catch it on Ovation TV and Acorn TV.
