Usually when a bride has been previously married, a second (or third) wedding is a little more low-key. But not in Orange County.
Real Housewives of Orange County alum Alexis Bellino and her fiancé John Janssen are planning to go all out. She wants her friends and family to feel special, not only on her big day, but leading up to it.
“This wedding is all about spoiling you guys,” Alexis said. “I think that’s why John and I are the most excited, is because it’s just a big party … We’ve got a lot of surprises for you.”

On September 25, Alexis teased some of her wedding plans on her iHeartRadio podcast, I Do, Part 2. Without revealing any big surprises, she did mention their cross-country pre-nuptial partying with their closest friends and family.
“I didn’t realize we were gonna have so many, like, shindigs before the wedding,” the bride-to-be shared. “You know what I mean? Like, it was just, like, one thing and then the next thing.”
First, she and John had a “nearlyweds” party with a small group of close friends, combining their bachelor and bachelorette parties. Then they had a “bridal retreat” in Scottsdale, Arizona, followed by another celebration in Las Vegas. Even former nemesis Tamra Judge attended a bridal shower in Orange County.
“When we were planning [the Vegas trip], I’m like, ‘I don’t wanna go to a nightclub. I’m 48; John’s 62,” Alexis recalled. “I just wanted to do something fun … Anyone that doesn’t go do [putt-putt] when they’re in Vegas, I think they’re missing out.”
Though it was fun, Alexis didn’t quite come out the big winner she expected to be. “I lost big time to John,” she explained. “John doesn’t golf, and I grew up … golfing with my peers. And I’m sitting there bragging to him for, like, three days. I’m like, ‘I’m gonna kick your butt at golf, you know, putt putt golf’ … I lost by, like, 10 or eight at the end of it.”
After first meeting at the infamous Quiet Woman restaurant in November 2023, the couple went public a month later. Only nine months later, Shannon Beador’s ex-boyfriend popped the question on August 27, 2024 in Santa Barbara.
Alexis posted the happy news on Instagram, alongside a picture of her and John together, after she said yes to the giant cushion-cut diamond surrounded by a halo of smaller diamonds.
“On Cloud 9,” she captioned her post, alongside nine red heart emojis. “Celebrating 9 months of love and laughter, and looking forward to my forever with you. Every moment together has been a gift. I am so in love with you and the beautiful life we’re building together. And the answer is 100000000% yes.”
