Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Potomac is almost here! It’s time to catch up with our favorite Potomac ladies, minus one: Karen Huger. As you may recall, Karen received a sentence of two years in prison, with one year suspended, for her DUI crash.
However, Karen was released on September 2, 2025, after serving six months of her sentence. Of course, speculation ramped up that her homecoming would be filmed for RHOP. It was reported that Bravo cameras were present when Karen exited the Montgomery County Correctional Center. In a preview of the Season 10 RHOP premiere, Karen is part of the action.

The preview begins at the corrections center on September 2 at 10:00 am. We can hear Karen’s voice as she prepares to make her way to the waiting car and freedom. “Okay,” she stated. “It will be fine.” She hopped in a vehicle, and although we can’t see her, we hear her ask for some tissues.
Cue a flashback to March 1, 2025, after a flurry of news reports about Karen’s sentencing. Gizelle Bryant is prepping to host her RHOP co-stars at her home. “Do I want Karen in jail? Absolutely not, “she said in her confessional. “But do I want to make sure that we don’t have a fifth DUI? For sure.”
When Ashley Darby arrived, the duo discussed their concerns about Karen’s safety. Gizelle wants Karen to be in “the elderly section.” Meanwhile, Ashley recently saw Stacey Rusch. And Stacey still won’t admit that she allegedly paid TJ Jones to be her on-screen boyfriend.
For Wendy Osefo, the “worst part” was how Karen “was taken into custody right away.” As the ladies continued to discuss Karen, Ashley murmured, “The Grande Dame. Thomas Jefferson’s concubine.” Of course, that was a nod to the infamous bodycam footage of Karen’s arrest.
