Before Southern Charm casting was dominated by the men of the show and their girlfriends and/or love interests, there was one particular female cast member that stood on her own. She was a quintessential southern girl. And a socialite in Charleston, South Carolina. Unfortunately, the former Bravolebrity left the series after Season 6.
Southern Charm matriarch, Patricia Altschul, named the alum as one of her favorite co-stars. And the one she would want most to return. However, the former Charm darling is unlikely to do so after Kathryn Dennis spread vicious rumors about her marriage. Of course, the Eat, Drink, and Remarry author was talking about Cameran Eubanks.
Patricia Altschul wants Cameran Eubanks back on Southern Charm
During an appearance on Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef, Patricia recalled filming with Cameran, and admitted that she wants her back on the show.
“I’d bring Cameran [Eubanks] back. Yeah, I love her. I mean, speaking of great TV, I thought Cameran was wonderful,” Patrica said.
In Season 6, Kathryn told Sewing Down Under founder, Craig Conover, that Cameran’s husband, Jason Wimberly, cheated on her. After that, Cameran quit the show. And she has not looked back. Patricia also find it unlikely that she will change her mind.
“I don’t think she would come back. I mean, every year, Whitney [Sudler-Smith] tries to get her to come back, and she’s just like, ‘No,’” Patricia admitted.
Despite their not filming together anymore, Patricia maintains contact with the couple. They run in the same social circles in Charleston.
“We keep in touch. You know, I mean, I love Cameran and Jason. They’re great,” Patricia said of the parents-of-one.
But while it’s unlikely that Cameran will film again, Patricia hasn’t given up hope. She shared, “I’d be surprised if she did, but who knows, you never can tell. I’m surprised by things all the time.”
