Kim Zolciak Dragged Into $100 Million Divorce Battle: Details

Divorces can get messy! Kim Zolciak knows this. As if she wasn’t having enough trouble with her on-again, off-again divorce from Kroy Biermann, she’s now getting dragged into another couple’s divorce. Officials subpoenaed her in the ongoing divorce case between Kyle Mowitz and his estranged wife, Jillian Green.

Fans have guessed that the man in the divorce is someone the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star is allegedly seeing. He had already separated, but he hadn’t finalized the divorce yet. Now, it looks like Kim’s being dragged into his messy divorce battle. And the stakes are high.

Kim Zolciak doesn’t want to be deposed in this $100 million divorce case

On September 30, court documents showed that officials served Kim with a subpoena demanding her appearance for the deposition. A process server handed Kim the paperwork in the parking lot of her son’s high school football game.

According to the process server, they pulled up behind Kim’s car and yelled out her name. When she turned to look, they gave her the papers and left.

Kim has filed a motion to squash the subpoena. According to US Weekly. she argued that the server acted “unreasonably, oppressively, and intended to annoy and embarrass her” by serving her in a public space.

No one has confirmed how Kim connects to the divorce case. Reports say that Jillian asked for all the documents pertaining to Kim’s financial relationship with Kyle. This includes everything from gifts given by Kyle, expenses paid for by Kyle, or any business in which he is connected, money loaned to her, or paid to her by Kyle.

Additionally, Kim said that she was negotiating with Jillian’s attorney for confidentiality to provide information relevant to the case. However, these fell through when Jillian’s lawyers felt her requests were “too restrictive and complicated.”

Further, Kim should know how complicated things can get in a divorce with major financial considerations. In this case, Jillian claims that Kyle has $100 million in trust, so the fight is surely going to get brutal.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is streaming on Peacock.
