Meredith Marks and Seth Marks are an unusual success story in Real Housewives history. Their marriage really was on the brink for the premiere season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. And with a lot of hard work, and changing how they communicate with each other, the duo are in a loving space again.
The latter seasons of RHOSLC show a vastly different dynamic between the couple. Dare it be said, Seth and Meredith are flirty and quite adorable with each other. And the entrepreneur believes they would have never gotten to that place without the show.

“I do honestly credit Real Housewives, coupled with COVID, for saving my marriage,” Meredith told Us Weekly. “We were in a horrible place when we first started. And, you know, it depends on how you embrace this show, but if you do it the way I did, which I think is the right way, you really learn a lot about yourself. And there’s a lot of self-reflection that goes in. You see how other people perceive the things you do and say, and a lot of times, it’s like, ‘Wait, I didn’t mean it that way,’ or, ‘I misspoke,’ and it can create a lot of problems, and it teaches you how to communicate better.”
Meredith certainly turned participation in reality TV into a learning experience. She also had to go up against some of her RHOSLC co-stars, who weren’t always so supportive.
“I was pretty straightforward that I had some very significant problems, and we worked really hard to get to the place that we’re at. And there’s been a multitude of times over the years since then where a lot of the women have tried to decimate my marriage, and it’s sort of screwed up. Like, I told the truth, and a lot of them don’t talk about their problems, and I don’t try to destroy their marriages,” the RHOSLC veteran explained.
