There’s been renewed talk about casting for Real Housewives of New York recently. October 2025 saw a resurrection of the topic that seemingly has dragged out for way too long. Whether it’s teasing the return of Sai De Silva and Erin Lichy, or the proposed addition of new ladies, speculation about the future of RHONY abounds.
Now, Luann de Lesseps is adding to the mix and suggesting Bravo executives will look to the RHONY veteran cast to save the show. Maybe not including the cabaret star, per se. But Carole Radziwill is another story.
Luann de Lesseps also thinks there’s a “chance” of something happening with the RHONY OGs
Luann interviewed on The Sarah Fraser Show podcast and shared her predictions for RHONY Season 16. Will the former Countess be on the roster? She isn’t quite that convinced about herself. But some sort of veteran hybrid is far more likely.
“I think that there is a chance of something happening. I’m not sure quite what, maybe an iteration of Housewives, but I don’t know. But I think we’ll know soon,” she teased.
Luann continued, “I think Carole is going to be announced at Bravo Con coming back to RHONY. They have only said Sai and Erin Lichy are coming back, two people.”
Thse comments are coming on the heels of Carole doing the interview rounds for her CNN documentary series about JFK Jr. The journalist also made headlines for reconciling with both Andy Cohen and Luann.
“I had my moment with her. I would be surprised if she came back to the show, but I love that Andy brought her on just to kind of make amends, because I know there was a falling out there. Remember, there was a whole moment of Carole and Andy not getting along,” Luann stated.
Maybe Carole is planning some sort Bravo inspired comeback. As for the rest of the RHONY rumors, perhaps some things will be made clear at Bravo Con 2025.
