Abe Lichy’s betrayal was an important story line on The Real Housewives of New York. At first, there was speculation as to what Abe had actually done to make his wife, Erin Lichy, so upset. Then it came to light that Abe had sold the couple’s Bitcoin during a time of financial instability. And he did so without her knowledge.
The tension between the couple was palpable at times on RHONY Seaseon 15. It’s been several New York minutes since filming wrapped. So Erin shared an update on how she and Abe are doing after the fallout.
Erin and Abe Lichy seem to be going strong after their financial issues
On the October 28 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Erin revealed that she’s “still mad.” Her husband of 13 years was seated in the audience, and surely had to be reflecting on the six-figure loss. But host Andy Cohen playfully came to Abe’s defense when Erin called him a “motherf*cker.”
Despite the RHONY star’s words, the couple are going strong. And they’ve put all their focus into raising their children. In March 2025, Abe and Erin welcomed their fourth child, Jack Hunter Lichy. Jack is doted upon by his parents and siblings Levi, Elijah, and Layla. And the RHONY star loves being a mother of four, calling it a “great” situation.
“Just add it to the mix,” Erin joked of her expanding brood.
As for the state of her RHONY relationships, Erin revealed that she keeps in touch with “many of” her cast mates. But “not all.” Brynn Whitfield would be in the latter category, presumably, after she “blocked” Erin.
“I don’t know what I did,” the RHONY star admitted.
Erin is expecting to be involved in Ubah Hassan’s wedding to Oliver Daschel, as the ladies are still “very much” in touch. She joked, “I better be.” And Jenna Lyons “sent a really nice gift” at the time of Jack’s birth.
