Former Real Housewives of New York star Carole Radziwill’s feud with Andy Cohen was nasty. After she departed RHONY, the duo argued in the press and on social media. It was messy and sometimes vicious.
However, in 2024, Andy revealed the former friends had made amends. “I’ve known her since the early 2000s, I think, or late 90s,” Andy previously stated. “So, we have a long history together that predates the Housewives.” Finally, Carole and Andy put the past behind them, and Carole even made appearances at BravoCon. And she also shared how she and Andy finally made amends.
Carole Radziwill made the first move in rekindling Andy Cohen friendship
“We had been like weirdly publicly beefing for … since I left the show. I didn’t love it either, but umm, you know, there was … I don’t know, miscommunication,” Carole explained. “Like normal animosity. But I’ve known Andy for so long. And then I don’t know, a couple, like two years ago, we had another blow-up over something, and then I texted him and I said, ‘Why are we doing this?’” Kudos for making a bold move, Carole!
“And it was kind of a long text. I was worried that he … that he maybe wouldn’t respond ’cause, you know, I hadn’t talked to him in like eight years,” The RHONY alum continued. “And he responded right away. Right away.” Carole added, “I’ll keep it private what we said.”
Meanwhile, while promoting her documentary about John Kennedy, Carole had the opportunity to appear on Andy’s late-night show, Watch What Happens Live. “Now we were going to do it like in the Bravo world, and I was really nervous,” Carole explained. “So, he like … you know, lessened my nerves and then I did it, and we healed the world … so.”
It seems that Carole is enjoying everything Bravo these days, even touting the “sisterhood” of the Real Housewives.
The Real Housewives of New York is streaming on Peacock.
