Friendships in the Real Housewives world come, go, and change. We all see it happen. Sometimes relationships break down during a season, and people repair them once the season is over. And sometimes, relationships need a bit of a longer break. That seems to be the case for Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It looks like these former besties haven’t reconnected yet.
Sutton Stracke blamed Garcelle Beauvais for their friendship ending
On the red carpet following their BravoCon 2025 panel, Sutton shared some insight into what went down with her former BFF and co-star Garcelle. After Garcelle left RHOBH, their friendship was just not the same. And it’s more than a social media unfollowing. Garcelle felt Sutton didn’t have her back, and it looks like she’s not ready to mend fences.
Sutton revealed that she was sad about it. She also revealed that she and Garcelle have not spoken since the Season 14 reunion earlier this year, despite their true friendship.
“It was a deep friendship,” Sutton shared with US Weekly. “I did throw a baby shower for her son. I did call her and I did text her a lot.” But it looked like Garcelle wasn’t ready to talk.
“The decision was made by Garcelle,” Sutton explained about ending their friendship for now. “And that’s that.” She added that she has friendships that are 50 years old, and she has never lost a friend like that. “It’s so unusual for me.”
When asked if the door was open for a reconciliation between the two former besties, Sutton played coy, although she did say before that they had a genuine friendship she thought was worth recovering. For now, she’s focusing on what’s in front of her.
“I’m just focused on the season, and my family and my friends,” Sutton said. “That’s where I am.” Regarding the season, she revealed that she has grown closer to Erika Jayne and Bozoma Saint John.
“We’ve gotten to be friends,” Sutton said about Boz. “She’s so smart and very definitive in her decisions and actions. I respect that greatly.”
