Things appeared quiet for a while on the divorce proceedings of Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann. But now, there’s news again. The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Don’t Be Tardy alum has denied claims from Kroy that she violated a court order by speaking about their divorce and her new boyfriend on television.
Kim Zolciak spoke to Andy Cohen about the new man in her life
According to US Weekly, Kim filed court documents that responded to Kroy’s claims that she violated a court order in their divorce. She denied that the court ordered her to not talk about the divorce or turn over any financial documents. In Kroy’s motion, he said she violated the court order by speaking on Kristin Cavallari’s podcast and on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
According to Kim, the court-appointed official who spoke to their children has not indicated any support for these claims of contempt. Because of this, she is demanding that the court order Kroy to cover her legal fees so she can defend herself against his complaint.
From his side, Kroy said that Kim violated their temporary parenting agreement by talking about their divorce in public.
“The court was very clear in its order,” Kroy’s motion stated. “Notwithstanding, (Kim) appeared on two television programs to talk about the divorce.” The former NFL star said that Kim accused him of not contributing financially to the family and stealing her things. She also talked about her new boyfriend.
A judge has yet to rule on the matter.
This isn’t the only legal trouble Kim is facing now. Along with her own divorce, she is also being dragged into the divorce of her current boyfriend, Kyle Mowitz. His estranged wife, Jillian Green demanding that Kim appear for a deposition to talk about her relationship with Kyle. She also wants Kim to disclose all the money he has given her.
It looks like Kim is now facing legal entanglements on both fronts.
