On November 21, Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kandi Burruss filed for divorce from her husband, Todd Tucker. The couple met during filming of Season 4 of RHOA and tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in 2014. Their split rocked the Bravo-verse.
While we don’t know what caused Kandi and Todd’s union to go belly up, Kandi recently shared some insight. “This is something that has been brewing for a while,” the singer previously shared. “Sometimes things don’t work out. It just is what it is.” However, now there are rumblings that Todd’s behavior may have upset Kandi.

Now, rumors of Todd’s alleged misbehavior have surfaced. “Kandi and Todd had been having marriage troubles for a while now,” an insider told PEOPLE. “Kandi was not happy because she found out that Todd had been talking to other women behind her back. She had no idea.” Welp, that would surely be upsetting for Kandi.
Kandi’s rep has not yet commented, and Todd’s representative hasn’t responded to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
Meanwhile, it looks like this divorce could become nasty. Todd’s response to Kandi’s divorce filing included a request for primary physical custody of their two kids, Ace and Blaze. He also questioned the validity of their prenup.
In the court documents, Todd’s legal team claimed that Kandi’s attorneys presented him with the prenuptial paperwork while his attorneys were not there. “These circumstances raise substantial questions concerning the enforceability of said document. Nevertheless, [Todd] remains committed to working in good faith to resolve this matter amicably and privately to the extent possible,” Todd’s court filing read.
However, Kandi would like to keep a lid on this legal drama and filed court documents to seal the case. She feels that it would be best for their children if the proceedings weren’t made public.
