It’s nice when fences can be mended. It looks like all is going great with Joe Gorga and Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice. The siblings have reconciled after over a decade of family drama. Perhaps they’ve both recognized that it was time to put the past in the past. And while others are still skeptical, for now, all is good between the two and their families.
Joe Gorga says Melissa and Teresa Giudice “are back to normal”
Teresa has famously feuded with Joe and Melissa for years. It’s gotten really ugly. But this year, the pair have finally decided to let bygones be bygones. Fans have speculated as to why the reunion happened now, but really, it’s anyone’s guess.
Some fans think it has something to do with the future of RHONJ. The show has been on hold for a while. Rumors were that Teresa was out, but no announcements have been made yet. Perhaps Teresa thought her chances for a return would increase if she and Melissa finally made amends?
There have also been rumors about Luis Ruelas still owing millions in taxes, so that reality TV paycheck would really come in handy. If not from RHONJ, perhaps from Florida franchise Real Housewives of Miami?
In either case, Melissa has said that things have been really good despite seeming skeptical in the beginning. Now, Joe is adding that things are amazing. The couple appeared on the Tamron Hall Show and spoke about the reconciliation.
“Things are amazing,” Joe confirmed. “Everybody says you need to take baby steps, but we’re not taking baby steps. It just went right back to normal. We all miss each other.” He confirmed that Teresa and Luis went to see Joe perform, and things have been so nice. He even added that Teresa and Melissa are back to normal.
“Honestly, to see the relief in his eyes, that’s everything to me,” Melissa said. “I can’t believe it went this long. It was too long, and life too short.”
Joe even added that the best part of all of this is that fans have approached him and said that he and Teresa have inspired them to make up with their own family.
“If we can do it, anyone can!” Melissa said with a smile.
