When you sign up for a Bravo show, you can expect that fans might try to dig up your past. For Vanderpump Rules newbie Chris Hahn, that wouldn’t be too hard. Some of his past is available to stream on Netflix.
This isn’t his first brush with reality TV, and he just admitted that his history with the genre made him feel “nervous” about joining the new Pump Rules cast.
Chris Hahn has a reality TV past before Pump Rules

Before making his Pump Rules debut, Chris appeared on Netflix’s Dated and Related along with his cousin/co-star, Jason Cohen. He later returned to the Netflix dating world on Season 2 of Perfect Match. In a conversation with People, he admitted that those previous reality TV stints made him nervous to step into the Bravoverse.
“Obviously, I’m nervous,” he confessed. “I know people are a little upset that I’ve been on reality TV before, and I think they think they know who I am based on my reality TV, what has been shown, and everything like that. So I’m a little nervous to maybe see a little bit of sh*t talking, hate, and stuff like that.”
He added, “But at the end of the day, I understand where they’re coming from if they feel that way, and you’re going to find out who I really am.”
We’re only a few episodes into Season 12, but “sh*t talking” has definitely surfaced. Some Pump Rules fans have been very vocal about the new cast seeming too thirsty for fame.
Either way, Chris said he’s ready to forge ahead towards Bravo stardom. He’s not going to let the negative feedback bruise his ego. Instead, he hopes to “inspire” people with his bravery. Yes, really.
He said, “I hope to inspire people to not be scared and really just put themselves out there and not shy away from opportunities because of how people are going to think of you and what people are going to say.”
Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo. You can stream it the following day on Peacock.
