Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has shown viewers a more open and vulnerable Kyle Richards. Since her separation from her longtime husband, Mauricio Umansky, Kyle has been pretty tight-lipped about what led to their decision. However, she recently shared some details about her personal life.
Meanwhile, Kyle and Mauricio spent time together at a New Year’s Eve party in Aspen. Onlookers clocked the duo as being “very obviously together.” The witness added, “If you didn’t know they had split up, you would presume they were still happily married.” Is a reconciliation on the horizon?
Mauricio told Kyle he doesn’t like going home to nobody
According to The Daily Dish, Kyle recently revealed why her estranged husband is always out on the town. “Well, Mau goes out a lot, you know, and he actually said to me, ‘I don’t want to go home to an empty house; I don’t want to go be by myself,’” Kyle explained on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show. “So, that’s why he goes out more, which is understandable. Just the other day, I was like, ‘My house is empty; I should go somewhere’ … even though I was tired, so I understand that part of him,” she added.
Of course, Mauricio also has an active love life, as he embraces being single. Meanwhile, Kyle favors a more “discreet” approach to dating. “I don’t need to go to the hotspots,” Kyle stated. The RHOBH star is also more “aware” of paparazzi, unlike Mauricio.
She continued, “It’s taken him a while to get used to that because he’s not used to being followed by the paparazzi. So, that was new, since our separation, and he had to learn that they’re actually watching and hiding.” Meanwhile, in an episode of RHOBH, Kyle admitted that she was in a relationship since separating from Mau, but she is currently single.
