RHOSLC’s Bronwyn Newport Gives Shocking Update on Lisa Barlow Relationship

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6 finale aired and ended up with a pile-on of Meredith Marks. Bronwyn Newport suggested that Seth Marks was dining with another woman in New York. And Lisa Barlow jumped in to her defense.

So Lisa and Bronwyn were again at odds. It’s perhaps a culmination of the latter star holding Lisa to the fire for her legal issues earlier in the season. And Lisa bringing up sensitive topics about Bronwyn’s daughter Gwen last season. The Season 5 reunion was also difficult for Bronwyn after Lisa downplayed the closeness of their friendship.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City stars Bronwyn and Lisa are not on speaking terms

Bronwyn gave an interview at Bravo HQ post-reunion filming. She dished about the state of her and LIsa’s friendship. And it’s exactly how you’d expect it to be.

“I do not speak to Lisa,” the fashionista admitted. “I mean, it would be hard for me to speak to Lisa because I believe she has me blocked on everything. So I don’t know, but that’s the impression I get, because people have to screenshot me negative comments she says about me. I don’t actually see them in person.”

Bronwyn tragically lost her father, David Richard Newport, in June 2025. The entire cast reached out to her except Lisa.

“I think that kind of sums up why I’m just really not interested in anything from her at this point. If you don’t have sympathy for somebody who’s unexpectedly lost a parent, I’m really meaningless to you. And I don’t have people in my life who treat me that way, no,” she shared.

“I did want a friendship with Lisa, despite our ups and downs,” the reality TV star said. “And I think you see, throughout the season… I was like Goldilocks trying out different things with Lisa. First, I fought back and I was like ‘Oh, if I don’t mean anything to you, then I guess you won’t care if I bring up your lawsuits, or if I tell you I think you’re a liar.”

Bronwyn continued, “It’s not natural to me to want to fight that way, and so you see me apologize to her. You see me just kind of say, ‘We’re just gonna be civil.’ And I realized, oh, we’re not even just gonna be civil. She’s gonna continue to talk about my daughter and this really sensitive thing that I specifically told her is hurtful to my child. It’s hurtful to my family.”

However, Bronwyn is “hoping for the best for Baby Gorgeous always.”
