Monique Samuels is making her Real Housewives of Potomac comeback as a friend. And it’s been well received and seemingly much needed. And with at least one newbie cast member struggling in Season 10, there is speculation that Candiace Dillard Bassett could make a return as well.
Candiace left the show after Season 8. She wanted expand into different career opportunities, as well as focus on family. She and husband, Chris Bassett, welcomed son Jett Maxwell Lee Bassett, in October 2024. So all things considered, the RHOP alum has enough going on. But shared her thoughts about a comeback during a recent podcast episode.
Candiace doesn’t have “any plans to return” to The Real Housewives of Potomac
During the December 31 episode of her podcast, Undomesticated, Candiace reflected on her decision to depart RHOP. The recording artist also commented about new projects for 2026.
“I do not have any plans to return to Potomac at this time,” she said. “I say that, you never know, as someone who believes firmly in never saying never. I’m not saying it will never happen. But what I am saying is, as you all are badgering and beating down my door to come back like, yesterday, I am not having those conversations.”
The former Bravolebrity continued, “I am having conversations about other things and other projects and other ideas and other endeavors that I’m really looking forward to.”
Candiace will be part of a cast again. She participated in The Traitors Season 4, which premieres on Peacock on January 8. The entrepreneur teased, “It is going to be a really good season.”
“I know I keep saying this, but truly, and today I had a conversation recently with one of my cast mates, and it was just so funny to relive and kind of recalibrate where we were together. And just like, the twilight zone of an experience that it was. And also just like reminded me of what I have always said about this cast is that we, our cast, is so awesome and so great. So I can’t wait for you guys to see it,” she shared.
