NeNe Leakes is finally heading back to Bravo! Fans have been waiting for this moment for years. It may not be the way they expected, but it’s a step in the door, and that’s something. Sources claim that The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum will be part of The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip, which Andy announced at BravoCon.
NeNe Leakes is allegedly joining Real Housewives Ultimate Road Trip as a guest
According to TMZ, production sources have shared that NeNe won’t be a full-time cast member. She will have a notable presence, though, when the show makes its way to Atlanta. TMZ reported that NeNe will only be appearing during the Atlanta leg of the trip.
The newly announced series is the latest evolution of the popular Ultimate Girls Trip. Andy shared the details of the upcoming show during BravoCon 2025.
“The Real Housewives Ultimate Road is celebrating 20 years of The Real Housewives,” Andy shared. “We will have iconic Housewives taking the road trip of a lifetime to the Housewives cities where they will be joined by iconic Housewives past and present from the span of two decades,” he said.
“This is going to rock your world!” he declared.
According to sources, NeNe will appear in the Atlanta leg of the show alongside several other popular Housewives, past and present.
NeNe departed Bravo in 2020 after Season 12 of RHOA. Her return was a bit complicated, as she was in a previous legal battle with the network. NeNe filed a lawsuit in 2022 alleging a racist and hostile work environment. The lawsuit was dropped, but the damage was done.
However, Andy left the door open for her return amid fan clamor. During BravoCon in 2023, he said that there was “room in his heart for everyone.” Fast forward to 2026, and it looks like the pair have worked some thing out. We can’t wait!
