They’re BACK! Five gems from the golden age of The Real Housewives of New York are headed to E! for a new show. Farewell, Bravo! Finally, these legends will be back on our screens in the future.
These RHONY OGs left for a brand new series with a beachy twist. Even their former RHONY co-star, Bethenny Frankel, is cheering their new endeavor. After RHONY: Legacy fell apart, it seemed like these Real Housewives stars were out of luck. However, E! has gifted them, and us, a new beginning for this group. Here’s what we know so far.
Five former Real Housewives of New York cast members have joined the cast of E! series The Golden Life
E! has officially announced that the new docuseries series, The Golden Life (which is a working title), will follow Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Kelly Bensimon, and Jill Zarin. In an Instagram video, the ladies introduced themselves. “It’s really happening!” Kelly announced, while Luann added, “We’re back, darlings!” Plus, Ramona teased some “turtle time with my favorite girls,” while Jill added, “And we are ready for action.”
“Bound by decades of shared history, fallouts, and friendship, this fan-favorite group of New Yorkers are starting fresh together in the Sunshine State,” E! announced. The ladies will be living their best life “in and around Palm Beach with fabulous second homes and a bustling social scene.”
According to E!, “With their signature humor and non-stop hijinks, the series will follow the group as they navigate dating, family, and career milestones.” However, there is plenty of history and drama among this crew. So, don’t expect a calm and relaxing dynamic.
In addition, Val Boreland, VERSANT’s President of Entertainment, noted, “We’re thrilled to welcome reality TV royalty to E! for a reunion fans have been waiting for. The energy within this group has always been electric, and we’re excited to watch it unfold in a new chapter of life by the beach.”
