Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne puts a lot of thought into her confessional looks. She nearly always looks stunning.
Now she’s taking fans behind the scenes, explaining the process she and her team go through to achieve her “custom interview look.”
Erika Jayne is giving all the details on her confessional look
In an exclusive Bravo video, Erika breaks the fourth wall detailing an upcoming confessional look. “There is a structure to almost everything I wear in a sit down interview,” the Painkllr singer explains. “You’re trying to create a pretty silhouette and tell a story at the same time. We always try to have a beginning, middle, and end.”
This is where she relies on her team to help her assemble a custom look. Emphasizing that it’s all about “telling a story,” she says, “We think, like, what have we done? … What story are we telling?” Additionally, they consider colors and shapes they want to incorporate.
“So this interview look is sleek, edgy, [yet] still glamourous,” she continued. “[It’s] serving dark fantasy.”
Ultimately, the dark look “sets the tone” for the rest of RHOBH Season 15. “This is a way to really end the season … in an edgy, fun way,” she adds. “So we wanted it to be sleek, a little dangerous, a little fun.”
Basically, Erika believes every confessional look “should reflect where you are … It needs to be a personal story and a personal choice … [It needs to] come from the heart.”
Meanwhile, the custom piece she’s wearing is exactly what she wanted: “something edgy, glamorous, laced-up … [The look gives] BDSM chic … rocker vibes, in a way.”
In the end, Erika is a strong woman who has never been afraid to stand up for herself. “BDSM/rocker” vibes suit her to a tee.
