Summer House stars Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke announced their separation on January 19, 2026. They were already living apart by this date. But once they realized they were better off apart, they released a joint statement, and the rest is history. And now, per usual, headlines are already linking Amanda to various men, including two of her costars.
However, Amanda has already released various statements about her past and present relationships. As expected, her words do not match any of these rumors. So, to help Amanda live, here’s the real truth on who she is (or isn’t) dating following her split from Kyle.
And no, at this point, Kyle is not dating anyone from the Bravosphere, despite previous rumors that linked him to Salley Carson. As one of his costars explained, “Kyle needs some time, right?” Eh, maybe.

Following their separation announcement, Amanda appeared on Watch What Happens Live. Here, she explained, nothing big happened, meaning there was no “final straw” moment driving their “decision to separate.” There was also no prenup, which Amanda “regrets.” But admittedly, the worst part of their split was seeing “the whole internet rooting for your divorce.”
On Summer House, Amanda made her desires for a quiet life in the suburbs known. She was ready for her family era, but Kyle was not. So, when Amanda said it was time to play house, and Kyle responded by playing the club circuit as a new DJ, Amanda realized that, maybe, her fans were right.
“I mean, to an extent, when you hear something so many times, you start to believe it or think more about it. But I’m not mad about it. I think it is something I needed to hear,” Amanda explained.
And now, she told Andy Cohen, her relationship with Kyle is “great. We just had our premiere party. He gave me a very sentimental shout-out. He had a lot of people in tears. There’s a lot of love still there.”
Regardless, Amanda is ready to move on. Between her and Kyle, she might be “the first to start dating” again, she admitted. And this is when the rumormills started churning.

Amanda and Jesse Solomon have always shared a special connection on Summer House. Their chemistry is high and fun, and their exchanges are typically light and supportive. Meanwhile, most scenes featuring Amanda and Kyle, her actual then-man, are chaotic and strained, at best. Therefore, long before they ever even separated, fans clocked one thing: Amanda might be better off with Jesse.
In recent weeks, however, fans have tacked on a second theory here. As many are now asking, is Amanda actually dating West Wilson? The internet definitely thinks so. Apparently, these two have been getting rather close while hanging out together in the city, and they were even spotted holding hands under some random table, all while Kyle was lurking somewhere nearby.
Nevertheless, this rumor is also now a bust. As KJ Dillard told Swoon, Kyle and Amanda are “just friends. KJ added, “It’s so wild to me [that] people can’t just post photos together. People will run with anything.”
So, there you have it. Like Amanda explained during the same episode of WWHL, there was, and always will be (for now), nothing to see here. Moving forward, Amanda is single. And also, she will never date anyone on Summer House.

As Amanda said in a recent interview with Marie Claire, she is single. Now, “I am manifesting a boyfriend, but just a boyfriend. No one who’s looking for anything serious. I want to have fun with someone my age or younger, since I’ve always dated older,” she explained.
“For now, while I heal, I just want to flirt and make out. To be taken on dates, and enjoy being hot and happy. I’ll find a husband later,” she said, “or maybe not.” And then, Amanda touched on the West and Jesse rumors, hopefully putting these to bed for good.
Appearing on the Trading Secrets with Jason Tartick podcast, Amanda confessed that she has heard every rumor. But, according to Amanda, these romances are “not gonna happen. I’m not touching ANY of my cast members. Love them dearly, but I’m good,” she stressed.
That said, one thing has weirded out Amanda following her split from Kyle. From her DMs to random encounters with fans and friends alike, people are offering her notes of “congratulations.” Yet, though these responses have felt off, Amanda is “not mad about” any of these comments. Instead, “I get it,” she says.
