From one Housewife to another, Phaedra Parks has some words of advice for Real Housewives of Potomac star Wendy Osefo.
As we all know, Wendy and her husband are both fighting felony fraud charges and face lengthy prison sentences if convicted. Phaedra thinks Wendy needs to think about her children as she navigates this complicated legal battle. She says a plea deal might be her best option.
Phaedra Parks thinks Wendy Osefo should take a plea deal

Of course, Wendy and Eddie Osefo are both innocent until proven guilty, but the evidence isn’t looking great. Wendy’s blabbing about the case in detail on the RHOP Season 10 reunion didn’t help in the court of public opinion. With that in mind, Phaedra said in a new TMZ interview that Wendy should focus on doing what’s best for her children.
“Here is the thing. The win for her would be to obviously be exonerated, but the evidence speaks for itself,” Pheadra explained.
She continued, “When the evidence speaks for itself, you need to do what’s in the best interest of your family and your children.”
RHOP fans, and some cast members, have suggested that Wendy take a plea deal. There’s no word on whether prosecutors have offered one. However, Phaedra thinks that could be the best option, should it become available. In her expert legal opinion, the goal should be to reduce the time spent behind bars.
Phaedra noted, “If the evidence says that you’re going to go for longer and you will not be found not guilty, I think the smartest thing to do is do the least amount of time.”
The RHOA star also weighed in on Wendy and Eddie’s decision to have their cases tried separately. The couple went back and forth on this a few times. But at their latest court hearing, they agreed to split up the case. According to Phaedra, she probably would have taken the same steps if she were involved in the case.
She explained, ”I’ve obviously seen the indictment, but I’m sure there’s a lot of discovery in this matter, but at the end of the day, they’re both parents, and as a parent, your number one interest has to be the care of your children.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta returns to Bravo on Sunday, April 5 at 8/7c. You can stream it on Peacock the next day, along with The Real Housewives of Potomac.
