Things are getting messy in Miami and not in a fun way. Just weeks after Bravo made the bizarre decision to put The Real Housewives of Miami on pause, Lisa Hochstein and her ex-boyfriend, Jody Glidden, were hit with criminal charges.
Jody got picked up by the cops over the weekend, and Lisa could be next. In the meantime, she responded to the news with a cryptic message on her Instagram Story.

Both Jody and Lisa have each been charged with one count of interception of wire, oral, or electronic communications. The charges go back to a claim from March 2023, where Lisa’s ex-husband, Lenny Hochstein, accused her of planting a listening device in his car. At the time, Lisa denied the claims and called his accusations “mean and calculated.”
Three years later, cops arrested Jody over the spying accusation, and allegedly, there’s a warrant out for Lisa’s arrest, too. After the news broke, the RHOM star shared a graphic to her Instagram Story about “strategic timing” of “smear campaigns.” The post included a bulleted list of toxic behaviors that “abusers” employ to hurt their victims.
The list read, “He doesn’t release damaging information randomly. He times it for maximum destruction — before a court date, a career milestone, a custody hearing.”
“The goal is to cause the most damage at the most vulnerable moment,” the post continued.
Lisa didn’t add anything to the post—she just reshared it to her Story. However, we can all assume that we know who she’s referring to here.
Meanwhile, Jody and Lisa’s lawyers teamed up to release a joint statement about the charges. They’re confident that the former couple hasn’t done anything criminal.
“This matter is part of a contentious divorce proceeding and does not belong in criminal court,” they told Page Six.
