Southern Hospitality Star Emmy Sharrett Calls Out Invasion of ‘Privacy’ by Cast Member

This drama with Emmy Sharrett and Bradley Carter has yet to die down. It all began after the Southern Hospitality Season 3 reunion finished filming. Bradley was able to hear Emmy making negative comments about him and TJ Dinch outside her hotel room door. He soon sent her a scathing text message revealing that he heard everything she said, and allegedly, filmed the conversation from outside the door.

Instead of confronting the situation head on, Emmy’s next steps were a complete shock. She told someone among the group that she felt “unsafe” around him, which was quickly deemed as a harmful microaggression. Amidst the backlash, she is speaking out and taking accountability.

Emmy recently discussed the hotel room fiasco and while she’s remorseful for her subsequent comments, she’s not going to pretend like Bradley didn’t cross a line.

“My privacy was taken from me in that moment. The way I expressed myself, I deeply regret, and I wish I would have changed the terminology when I expressed myself. I never would have wanted to cause the pain that I did cause Brad. And I’ve learned a lot from that,” she told PopCulture.

They recently attempted to squash the beef on-screen, but it didn’t quite work out as she hoped it would . At the time, Bradley saw her apology as fake, especially since she told someone else she didn’t mean it. Ultimately they both walked away from the conversation without making amends.

Even though she struck out then, Emmy is hoping that during the Season 4 reunion or afterwards, she and Bradley will be back on good terms.

“I really want to move forward and find a place where we can be amicable because I never wanted this season to go the way it did.”

Southern Hospitality airs Thursday nights at 9/8c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
