One last hurrah for our Southern Hospitality Season 4 recaps! The reunion continues, and so does the drama! We dive deeper into the Emmy and Brad fight, look closer at the crew’s love lives, and get some sage advice about moving forward! Here’s everything that happened on Southern Hospitality Season 4, Episode 15: “Reunion Part 2.”
What Went Down on Southern Hospitality Season 4 Episode 15?

Part two of the reunion dives back into where the tension left off last time. Andy asks Emmy why so many people had to explain to her why “unsafe” was a microaggression.
Emmy pauses, and it looks like she may revert to what we’ve seen all season. But surprisingly, she explains it’s because she doesn’t listen. She admits she’s an emotional terrorist in the sense that when she’s angry, she can’t see past her emotions.
She shares that Lake and Michols have worked to educate her on this sensitive topic, and she knows she didn’t treat it with the respect it deserves. Emmy apologizes again to Brad, saying she’ll never understand what it’s like to be him, and the depth of her words.
She felt attacked and didn’t understand what “microaggression” really meant, which made her act “batsh*t crazy.” Emmy admitted she was embarrassed it took her this long to understand.
While Brad wants to believe she’s being genuine, he understandably fears she’ll just walk it back like she’s done time and again.
Brad and Emmy delve deeper into their issues

In the wake of her apology, Brad asked Emmy why she kept going, even though she knew she hurt him. For his part, he said that after Folly Beach, he was willing to move on.
Emmy answered because she felt he invaded her privacy by recording her conversation with Will. But Brad pointed out that she didn’t need to say he stalked her hotel room. He reminded her that she had called him a stalker, unsafe, and some evil maniac. Plus, what she told her friend Lucia about him, that he said, “sleep with one eye open,” was a flat-out lie.
Even Andy asked why Emmy kept repeating her statements about Brad when she admitted she was never scared for her physical safety. When she said scared, Emmy meant she was scared for her emotional safety. She feared revenge. That is fair because of what Brad did to Maddi.
This drama ends with Brad saying he’s glad Emmy has learned a lesson about how words impact others. It seems like they are done though.
Michols and Lake talk about their position during the microaggression drama

Andy asked Michols how he felt seeing Emmy say he should side with her no matter what as her friend, even when she’s wrong. Michols says it was hard because he didn’t agree with her at all. That’s why he had to take a step back.
Lake admits she’s had several conversations with Emmy to explain the microaggression, and it was frustrating. Lake does not condone what Emmy did, but she says she also has grace for people who make mistakes.
Andy even brought up Lake’s mom telling her “not to talk to white people about black people’s business,” and Lake shared that even her mom has spoken to Emmy about what happened.
However, despite Emmy’s apology, there was a lot of blowback, and it hit more than just her and Brad.
Brad admitted there was roughly 85% support from the fans, but there were also people who said very racist and awful things to him. It wasn’t just him as a black man, either. It was about anyone who was different, and Michols readily agreed.
The crew talks about love, relationships, and hookups

Andy moves on to more lighthearted questions and delves into everyone’s relationships.
Emmy and Will are getting married in the summer of 2027 in England. She’s already picked a dress. Brad and Julia are coming up on two years together and doing great!
Andy asked what happened with Oisin and Lake after prom. Joe essentially busted them, so we all know the answer. Lake did clarify, though, that she did not have a threesome with him after Joe’s birthday party.
Andy then brings up Justin hooking up with Jordyn, dating Mia, and then saying he thinks he’s going to propose to Charley, all in one season. Justin admits he thinks Charley is the love of his life.
He also addressed the rumors about his sexuality, as some people said he was queerbaiting. But for Justin, his sexuality is fluid, and he’s open-minded. He likes what he likes.
Mia and Troy still talk, but the breakup remains. Mia won’t move to Charlotte, so she can’t be with Troy until he comes to Charleston. Lake accuses Mia of cheating on Troy before Hawaii, but she refutes that.
Michols says Mia also lied about not hooking up with West. He says Mia told Salley to sleep with West because “the d*ck was so good.” At first, Mia looked like she was going to deny it, but then Leva co-signed that and said that she was there when Mia said that to Salley. Long story short: Mia did sleep with West.
Jordyn, Justin, and Mia … (and Lake too!)

Lake brings up the Jordyn of it all. She thinks Justin downplayed their “situationship” for the camera. She has texts between Justin and Jordyn that make it appear more serious than he let on, but he says he never offered Jordyn exclusivity.
Lake even said that Jordyn met Justin’s parents. He explains it’s only because she showed up at his place unannounced and uninvited while they were there.
Both Lake and Maddi believe Justin was leading Jordyn on. And maybe he was, but the fact remains, they weren’t exclusive. Could he have handled it better? Absolutely! But for a guy who buys toothbrushes in bulk to hand out at his place, he didn’t actually cheat.
Mia entertaining Justin made Lake go after her, too. But it’s deeper than that. Lake says Mia previously spoke to her ex, who cheated on her, when they went out. She doesn’t think Mia is a girl’s girl.
According to Mia, Lake asked her to find out why her ex was there. But Lake says she’s lying. The conversation quickly devolved. Eventually, Mia pointed out that she had already apologized for talking to Lake’s ex at Joe’s emo party. Lake said she didn’t, but the video evidence proved otherwise.
Lake doesn’t forgive her. Mia doesn’t care.
Maddi and Joe have a son… a fur baby!

As for relationships, Maddi and Joe have taken a step in theirs. They’ve adopted a fur baby named Ozzy! Joe spends most of his time with Maddi, but they haven’t officially moved in together yet.
Maddi honestly admits she still has a bit of hesitation, but she thinks their relationship is going in the right direction. The dog was a great first step.
Andy asks her about her egg-freezing journey, and Maddi shares that she did it. Freezing her eggs made her feel empowered and now allows her to live her life on her timeline.
Talking about Maddi and Joe inevitably brings up the comments Molly and TJ made about Maddi not seeing herself marrying Joe. TJ admitted he was hammered when he mentioned it at the party, but Molly stands by it.
Maddi said that was an outright lie. As both girls talk, it looks like they both got lost in translation. Maddi may have said she doesn’t see it YET, but Molly made it sound as if Maddi doesn’t see it EVER.
Leva wraps it up and paves the way forward for those who want it

The reunion wraps up with Joe saying they need to stop talking sh*t if they want to move forward. Leva says everyone needs to decide who they want to be friends with and move forward from there.
She highlights what she’s seen — Brad is hurt, Joe misses his boys, Emmy feels alone, and Grace needs support but doesn’t know how to ask for it. Leva explained that one side of the reunion is the high-feeling group (Emmy, Michols, Lake, and Grace).
The other side has more logical folks who can compartmentalize (TJ, Brad, Mia, and Molly). Perhaps they can’t mend fences properly because they don’t understand how the others operate.
Leva says there is a lot of love there, but everyone needs to work on their individual relationships. She toasts the season with martinis and weenies and reminds them that this is the best time of their lives and they need to protect their friendships.
Cheers to another exciting season of Southern Hospitality! Can’t wait to head back to Republic!
