Alexia Nepola Blames Bravo Fans for RHOM Pause: ‘We Need Them To Watch’

When Bravo recently announced that the beloved Real Housewives of Miami had been put on “pause,” fans were undeniably heartbroken. But, according to cast member Alexia Nepola, the fate of the franchise is in the hands of viewers.

Speaking to Page Six, Alexia and her bestie Marysol Patton, who is also on RHOM, said low ratings – and, therefore, viewers – are the reason the franchise has been taken off air.

“All these Bravo fans need to watch our show,” Alexia said. “Our show’s so popular, but where are these Bravo fans? We need them!”

Alexia went on: “We need them to watch our show because apparently our ratings were not that high and that’s why we’re on a pause — for now.”

Backing this up, Marysol agreed that the interactions she has with fans daily do not reflect the low ratings that the show has. “Everybody knows us, they watch it,” she said. “And then to hear that the viewership was low doesn’t make sense.”

As for how fans can help get RHOM – which was previously off air for eight years – back, Alexia urged viewers to turn their TVs on. “The ratings don’t reflect what our popularity is,” she explained. “Please continue to watch and support us because we need that if you want to see us back on TV.”

Despite the franchise being put on pause, Alexia said that the cast’s “life continues.” And that’s certainly true. While cameras have been down, Lisa Hochstein has been accused of bugging ex-husband Lenny Hochstein’s car. She recently turned herself in on a felony warrant and, if convicted of the crime, could face years in prison.

Real Housewives of Miami streams on Peacock.
