After all the stress surrounding Fraser Olender’s recent health scare, he and Matt Rogers are taking some space.
The actor/comedian and the Below Deck star had only been dating for three months when they attended BravoCon 2025. After going public on the red carpet, Matt was at Fraser’s side when he suffered a heart attack.
“He wanted to take a picture together,” Matt said on his and Bowen Yang’s Las Culturistas podcast. “I was like, ‘Let’s do it.’ I put it on my Instagram … As that was happening – and I know this is going to sound dramatic – he had a heart attack in front of me.”

“We were already really enjoying being together,” Matt said on the April 15 episode. “And then there was this health stuff that … accelerated things.”
At the moment, Fraser is away at an undisclosed location. “I can’t say where,” Matt said coyly. “He’s creating the television program many people like. I’m going to see him soon. But while he’s been gone … we kind of did just take a little bit of space, just because of how intense everything had gotten.”
“People don’t know [that] a heart attack is happening every time,” the actor/comedian continued. “He had very intense chest pains and couldn’t get comfortable and was short of breath … And [he] had to bail on the whole night with us.”
Not knowing whether “stress and anxiety” was the issue, it wasn’t until Fraser flew back to London that he got answers. After seeing his doctor and going through multiple tests, Fraser was diagnosed with vape poisoning.
After his terrifying experience, Fraser encouraged his social media followers to give up vaping entirely. “I could have died for the sake of something so ridiculously stupid,” he shared on Instagram. “So please do yourselves a favor and give it up too – cold turkey. We do not know enough about these horrific things.”
