Would Barbie Pascual choose Fraser Olender or Daisy Kelliher as her Below Deck chief stew? A caller recently asked Barbie this very question on Watch What Happens Live. And what Barbie had to say was shocking, to say the very least.
The BDDU star says Daisy is “way nicer” but Fraser is “way better at his job”
Barbie had a rough go working underneath Fraser on Below Deck Season 11. Fraser came in strong, hoping to be a firmer leader. At times, he came down hard on Barbie, often noting that she lacked respect for his position. As for Barbie, she did not feel seen or valued by Fraser.
By the end of Season 11, their divide was massive. So massive that Barbie left filming one day early. “Nobody here cares about me,” she said, so “I’m gonna go straight to a five-star resort.”
Then, Barbie popped back up on Below Deck Down Under Season 4. On her first day aboard, Daisy sent a quick text to Fraser, trying to gain information about her new stew. Barbie was not his “favorite employee. She’s stubborn. Good worker, though,” Fraser texted back.
Barbie and Daisy are getting along rather well. So, when a caller rang in to WWHL last night, asking Barbie which chief stew she would rather work under on Below Deck, her initial answer of “Daisy, she’s way nicer” made sense. But then, Barbie added on a random dig, noting, “But Fraser is way better at his job.” Needless to say, everyone looked shocked, but Barbie maintained a deadpanned stare, looking into the camera, really standing ten toes down on her answer.
Barbie has a “ride or die” friendship with Elena “Ellie” Dubaich, and Ellie and Daisy are not exactly bonding this season. Is that why Barbie randomly dissed Daisy on WWHL? Or, will Barbie and Daisy soon get into the muck on BDDU? Only time will tell.
