When we first heard that Bravo had already caught the person who leaked the Summer House Season 10 reunion audio, we imagined a team of cybersecurity experts, poring through data and tracking down the person like seasoned FBI agents. That wasn’t quite how it happened, according to Andy Cohen.
Bravo’s number one guy just dished about how Bravo managed to resolve the investigation so quickly. He said that the leaker got exposed by a Summer House fan who came forward with receipts, and apparently, this isn’t the first time this has happened.
The Bravo boss spoke of how this had happened with a Real Housewives star in the past
Andy weighed in on the Summer House leak during the Monday, April 27 episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. He wasted zero time getting into it and said it felt like a “violation” to both the crew and the cast.
As theories spread online about who was responsible for the leak, Bravo launched an official investigation. They had a team reviewing the audio, fully ready to go the distance, but a fan wound up coming forward. They snitched on the leaker.
Andy explained, “Though the team of investigators were on it, a Bravo fan, who you’re going to hear more about, cracked the case.”
According to Andy, this fan “delivered crucial information” that helped them pinpoint exactly who leaked the audio. It turned out to be a member of the production team, and the cast was fully exonerated from this. Yes, even West Wilson is innocent this one time.
With that said, it’s not entirely unheard of for a cast member to leak reunion tea. Andy said that this has happened once before with a Real Housewife, and she doesn’t know that he knows about it.
“A Housewife leaked everything that happened,” Andy recalled. “It was a very dramatic reunion, and this Bravo fan account posted everything that happened, and they were correct.”
Andy didn’t want to name the Housewife or the franchise, but he said he DM’d the fan who posted the insider information. The fan apologized, took down the post, and revealed their source.
“They told me,” Andy recalled. “And the Housewife doesn’t know that I know it’s them, but I do know.”
Somewhere out there, a Real Housewife is sleeping just fine, completely unaware that Andy knows this damning piece of information. And there’s someone from the Summer House production team who is very much out of a job.
