Bravo mastermind Andy Cohen has switched up his look, and his new hairstyle has fans comparing him to a famous figure from history. During the Aug. 13 episode of Watch What Happens Live, the 58-year-old host read a viewer’s comment comparing his longer hairstyle to George Washington.

BravoWWHL and BravoTV shared a short clip from the show on Instagram. In the clip, Cohen first read the comment, “Andy is giving off a little George Washington with his hair tonight. Gorgeous thick hair but the flip over both ears is giving George Washington.” Instead of taking the comparison seriously, he quickly admitted, “I can’t unsee it.”
Soon after, the show displayed a photo of Washington next to Cohen so viewers could make the comparison for themselves. Cohen even changed his facial expression to match the former president. “Here is my doppelganger. Let’s see,” he joked.
His guests, actress D’Arcy Carden and Real Housewives of Orange County star Emily Simpson, agreed they could see the resemblance. Cohen then poked fun at Washington’s serious expression, saying, “By the way, I mean, George Washington looks like a grump!” Carden and Simpson agreed, and Simpson added, “He’s got a lot of work to do.”
Andy Cohen continued the joke by pointing out another similarity between them. “He does, and by the way, he’s a little cross-eyed too. We both are,” he said. Finally, he looked at the photo again and admitted, “Alright, okay, I mean his [hair] is a little less [sleek]… okay, thank you. Thanks for that, guys.”
Meanwhile, fans also seemed to enjoy Cohen’s longer hairstyle. One viewer wrote, “Omg too funny! I thought the same thing! ?.” Another praised him, writing, “Love @bravoandy he is always a good sport. LOVE HIS HAIR LONG,” while another simply commented, “Love your hair, Andy.”
Cohen has embraced his natural gray hair for years. While sharing an old photo of himself with dark hair, he once joked, “… I’m not saying the Housewives turned my hair entirely Grey, but they did.” He has also said that he has never dyed his hair. According to Cohen, it can simply look different when it’s “blown out.”
