Actor Brandon Barash is dealing with personal challenges. The Days of Our Lives star recently filed an emergency restraining order against Kirsten Storms, his ex-wife.
Brandon married the General Hospital actress in 2013, and they had their first child five months later. The two divorced in 2016, both moving to Tennessee.
A judge approved Brandon’s RO request amid Kirsten’s “mental health crisis”

TMZ first reported the news about the restraining order.
According to court documents, Kirsten is dealing with a “mental health crisis,” People reports. Brandon also requested a mental health evaluation for his ex.
Brandon initially filed his request to the court in December 2025, according to the petition. Kirsten had contacted him in May of that year, allegedly telling him she was “experiencing delusions and hallucinations.”
According to the documents, the soap opera actress said she “didn’t think she should have the child for her parenting time.” According to Brandon, his now wife, Isabella, helped with Kirsten’s hospitalization. The petition noted she was placed on a psychiatric hold, which was not acknowledged by Brandon.
In Brandon’s filing, he states that Kirsten’s friend revealed to him that his ex had “repeated episodes of melting down, being triggered, hearing things/voices that weren’t there.” This friend also told Brandon she thought Kirsten was abusing Adderall and other drugs, he alleges.
The filing also claims that Kirsten did not have a permanent home between September 2024 and 2025, Brandon alleges. She was living in hotels or staying with friends during this time. He also states that Kirsten said people were “following her and the child to her room.”
After Kirsten moved into an apartment in November 2025, she told Brandon people were breaking in and putting her things in her car to “mess with her.”
According to the petition, Brandon alleges he loaned his ex $5,000, her car is scheduled to be repossessed and she has been sued for eviction by her landlord. He says that, due to her money problems, he is concerned about her ability to parent their 12-year-old daughter, Harper Rose. Kirsten currently has supervised visitation with her daughter.
