In Season 17 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Porsha Williams formally introduced the world to her new girlfriend, Patrice “Sway” McKinney. Meanwhile, in a confessional, she admitted that her attraction to women felt like one of the worst-kept secrets of the Bravoverse. The shady RHOA editors drilled down on that point by showing a montage of all of her sexually fluid moments.
We know that Porsha is attracted to women, but where on the spectrum does she land? In the LGBTQIA of it all, Porsha said she’s the “P.”
Porsha calls herself “Porsha-sexual”
In a new interview with former RHOA producer, Carlos King, Porsha talked openly about her sexuality. However, it sounds like she’s avoiding any formal labels. When he asked her if she identified as the “G” in LGBTQIA, she cheekily responded that she’s the “P.”
Carlos tried to clarify, “Pansexual?”
The RHOA star replied, “Porsha-sexual!”
Apparently, being Porsha-sexual is nothing new for her. She said she “always knew” but first noticed her interest in girls when she was school-aged. She used to smooch with another girl on the playground.
Porsha explained, “As an adult, when you’re really thinking about your sexuality, I knew that I was attracted to women. I just never envisioned it being like a true lifestyle.”
Naturally, things changed after divorcing Simon Guobadia. Porsha said she took a closer look at her life and asked herself some serious questions about what she wanted her future to look like.
Porsha explained, “I think that with what came with my last divorce came me honestly saying, ‘What do I want for my life? Where could my heart lead me? If I were to ever be in another relationship, how can I do that ss authtnic as authentic as I can?'”
Meanwhile, the RHOA Season 17 cameras started rolling, and she introduced us to a man named Mike Anthony in the premiere. Sway entered the picture in the following episode, proving exactly what it means to be “Porsha-sexual.”
When talking about the back and forth between Sway and Mike, Porsha said it felt a little bit like a season of The Bachelorette. Ultimately, Sway ended up with the final rose.
Porsha explained, “As I dated Mike and as I dated Patrice, I said, ‘You know what: I’m going to go with the energy that feels the best to me. I’m going to go where the energy and the love feels like home.'”
“And I found that in her,” she gushed. “I just found it with her.”
