If you didn’t know, Kyle Cooke isn’t the only Summer House star in the drinks business. For a while now his friend and co-star Carl Radke has been interested in getting into the food & beverage industry. On a journey of sobriety, he particularly wants to take over with non-alcoholic drinks.
In 2024, he announced that he wanted to own a physical bar & cafe. After putting six figures into launching it, the Soft Bar is finally open in Brooklyn. And, no one seems to be more happy about his dreams coming true than Kyle.
Does Kyle regret not investing in Carl’s non-alcoholic bar?
Kyle recently took to social media to celebrate Carl’s new business. He shared several photos from the Soft Bar’s grand opening. The pictures show the entire cast together, including Ciara Miller and Amanda Batula (which didn’t age well at all).
Nevertheless, he penned a heartfelt message to Carl, congratulating him on his success and reflecting on his “ton of pride”.
“Putting yourself out there and taking a ton of risk doing something that isn’t widely accepted or adopted is the very premise of entrepreneurship,” he wrote in the caption of the April 28 post.
The reality TV star did also admit that he’s having second thoughts about not financially backing the bar.
“I wish I could have shown my belief in Carl in the form of an investment, and in retrospect, wish I wrote a small check of confidence, but hindsight is 20/20.”
Maybe those two not going into business together was a good thing. After all, Kyle is currently going through some financial hardship with Loverboy.
Plus, by not investing in Soft Bar, money won’t be the downfall of their friendship. Which they need more than ever right now, as Kyle is going through a chaotic divorce, and Carl … well, he’s a mess.
Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock the next day.
