We might be getting another reality television crossover relationship! Salley Carson of Southern Charm hints at the possibility of something more with Summer House star Kyle Cooke. Fans have linked the lovely Southern belle to Kyle following his split from co-star Amanda Batula. She hasn’t shot the rumors down, but she is being a bit coy about the status of their relationship.
Are the Southern Charm and Summer House stars dating?
Salley took to Instagram earlier this week to answer some questions from followers. Someone asked her about her current status with Kyle. The follower inquired if it was either “love,” “fun,” or something more casual.
She didn’t hesitate to answer. She shared a photo of her drinking wine, not looking at the camera. “Can 3 things be true at the same time?” she asked in reply.
Salley also answered if she was interested in entering a relationship by noting that said relationship “could be happening now.” But she didn’t mention Kyle by name. However, fans are connecting the dots. The two were recently rumored to be hooking up, and honestly, this coupling sounds good to me.
The Charleston resident also hinted that she may be settling down soon. “Y’all aren’t going to believe me… but I’m pretty sure it’s going to be so soon.” She said she was seeing “anxiously attached to” before ending with “Don’t take advice from me.”
For his part, Kyle did admit he spent some time with Salley at a bar in Charleston. They were with Austen Kroll and Craig Conover, which may have been a tad awkward considering her history with both co-stars. She shared some snaps, and they looked like they were having fun.
However, when he appeared on Watch What Happens Live, Kyle said that “We were out with multiple friends at a dive bar. This was not like a date situation, just having fun.” He has enjoyed himself more than once since his split, kissing girls while on tour. During the In the City Season 1 reunion, he noted that he and Salley “hung out” and “hooked up.” Perhaps they’ve gotten more serious since then.
If Salley’s pal Charley Manley can find crossover love outside of Southern Charm with Justin Assad of Southern Hospitality, perhaps the same thing can work with her and Kyle. Looks like only time will tell.
