Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards is sharing some big news about her youngest daughter. Over the past year, Portia Umansky toured multiple colleges, looking for her best fit.
Before making a decision, she visited Texas Christian University, Southern Methodist University and the University of Miami, among others. While having a hard time making a decision, Portia consulted with her family members.
Kyle’s daughter Portia is headed to college in Colorado!
Come this fall, Portia will be attending the University of Colorado at Boulder. After revealing that Portia was looking at colleges last fall, now Kyle can announce her acceptance.
Taking to her Instagram Stories over the weekend, Kyle shared the big news. Posting a photo of her baby at a younger age, she announced Portia will be studying communications at CU.
“Congratulations @portia_umansky!!!” she captioned the photo. “Love you so much and so proud of you.”
The Umansky/Richards family are no strangers to Colorado. Kyle and her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky have a home in Aspen and often take family ski vacations there.
“Our dinner conversations are about which school she should apply to and what she’s going to write for her personal statement,” Kyle previously explained. “All the family [are] weighing in on where she should apply [and] what’s the best state for her to move to that we could all visit her all the time.”
On March 17, Kyle appeared on an Amazon Live stream where she shared what she hoped for in Portia’s college decision. “I just want her to be happy,” she admitted. “All of my daughters went so far away. I’d love a two-hour flight to see her, because it’s gonna be rough on all of us.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills three-part Season 15 reunion concludes Thursday, May 7 at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams the following day on Peacock.
