Southern Hospitality star Lake Rucker is involved in some serious drama with Mia Alario this season. And it all boils down to Mia dating Justin Assad while he was dating Lake’s friend, Jordyn Smith. When Lake confronted Mia for not being a girls’ girl, Mia dished it right back. And this made Lake feel like she was dealing with a “mean girl.” So, how does Lake feel about Mia now?
Lake also had issues with Molly
The feud between Lake and Mia started during Molly Moore’s “girls and gays” night. Mia spilled the tea to the group that she initially said yes to going out with Justin, which upset Lake and Jordyn. Jordyn asked Mia if she thought about her at all in that decision, and Mia said, “No.” Oof.
However, Mia then said she cancelled the date because she wasn’t into him. But that all changed during the group camping trip when Mia and Justin kissed. Molly, who is Jordyn’s roommate, was asleep during that exchange, but Lake still included her as a guilty party.
Lake dished to PopCulture all the details about her feelings towards Mia and Molly. Lake stated about Mia that she “really looked up to her” but now felt that she was more of a “mean girl.” She also called Mia “emotional” and “immature.”
As for Molly, Lake shared she didn’t feel “acknowledged” by her. And this feeling started “two weeks” before Season 4 started filming. She said, “When I’m friends with somebody, I acknowledge them when they walk by, even if it’s a ‘hello.’” No wonder she was quick to judge Molly about Jordyn!
She also stood by her reaction to Mia dating Justin. Lake said, “We all — Jordyn, Mia, [and] Molly — hung out all the time. … I wouldn’t have reacted in the ways that I reacted if I believed that Mia and Jordyn were not friends.” It looks like this feud isn’t going to end anytime soon!
