Miranda Hope Slams Chase McWhorter in TikTok; Exposes Texts and Turns Them Into Emo Song

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ (or ex-wives, in this situation) Miranda Hope is venting about her ex via music. Channeling an early 2000’s emo song, she turned ex-husband Chase McWhorter’s text messages into a musical TikTok.

The result is hilarious. I hope she gets nominated for a Grammy Award.

Though it’s a bit edgy, at least the former couple is communicating. After all, Chase and Miranda share two young children, son Brooks and daughter Cohen.

The pair divorced in 2024, following the “soft swinging scandal” that launched SLOMW into a hit TV show. Though they initially both denied being involved, now that he’s left the Mormon Church, Chase has confessed that he did take part.

Admittedly, the song is certainly catchy. The TikTok also sheds light on what it must be like for Hope to communicate with her ex.

Even as exes, Chase and Miranda haven’t been in a good place in recent months. Things went south in March, after news broke that Chase hooked up with Miranda’s SLOMW costar Jessi Draper.

Apparently, Amanda wasn’t that shocked by the incident, since she claimed Chase has a history of hooking up with her friends. Despite Jessi apologizing and even sending flowers to Miranda, it’s unclear whether the two remain friends.

As far as the TikTok goes, Miranda could have a future in the music industry. Given the ups and downs of her relationship with her children’s father, she could probably produce an album in no time. Maybe the next song should be country, since the genre lends itself so well to betrayal and heartbreak.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is streaming on Hulu.
