The View Co-Hosts Slam Tucker Carlson for Turning on Donald Trump

Having grilled Tucker Carlson when he ditched Donald Trump’s side a few weeks ago, The View co-hosts have fired shots at him again after he appeared to contradict one of his viewpoints. The panelists called out Carlson for taking too long to abandon the President’s side before claiming that he switches personalities every “five minutes.”

Tucker Carlson slammed by The View co-hosts

On the May 4 episode of the talk show, the co-hosts tore down the conservative political commentator for claiming that he never called the POTUS the “Antichrist,” despite a video proving otherwise.

“This is the problem! I mean, this is what happens,” Whoopi Goldberg exclaimed on The View. “There is video everywhere, of everything! Anything you’ve said ever is on video. So, you always have to ask it like a question. ‘I don’t remember saying that, did I say that’…You can’t say ‘I never said that.'”

Alyssa Farah Griffin then pointed out how it was Donald Trump’s decision to declare war on Iran and his AI-generated Jesus photo that convinced Tucker Carlson to distance himself from the President. Moreover, Sunny Hostin highlighted that “it wasn’t the racism, and the misogyny, and the xenophobia, and the anti-LGBTQ+. It wasn’t any of that.”

“Tucker Carlson got paid $20 million a year to basically lie to the American people…And he sold his soul for those $20 million, that’s very clear to me,” Hostin continued while referring to the veteran emcee’s supposed payday during his stint hosting Tucker Carlson Tonight on Fox News.

Hostin also implied how Tucker Carlson could back Donald Trump again, despite his recent disagreements.

This prompted Ana Navarro to say, “I just find keeping up with Tucker Carlson’s conversions very exhausting because he is a very different person than the person who was on CNN’s Crossfire and a very different person from the guy he was on Fox News, and a very different person now from the guy who he was five minutes ago. I just don’t have the 90 minutes to see which Tucker Carlson is gonna show up. It’s like that song, ‘Will the real Slim Shady please stand up? Which of his shady personas is gonna show up?'”

Meanwhile, Tucker Carlson has yet to respond to The View co-hosts’ comments on him.
