RHOBH Alum Annemarie Wiley’s Husband Marcellus Facing Rape Allegations by Four More Women; Ex NFL Star Has Three Other Accusers

Trigger Warning: This article includes discussion of alleged sexual assault, with details and descriptions of the encounters taken from the plaintiffs’ lawsuit.

Once again, Marcellus Wiley, the husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Annemarie Wiley, has been accused of rape. Four new women have come forward claiming that the former NFL star assaulted them, bringing his total number of accusers up to seven. They’re joining together in hopes of bringing him to justice—along with the university they say enabled his behavior.

The first accusation against Marcellus surfaced in 2023, right around the time he and Annemarie debuted on RHOBH Season 13. A Jane Doe accuser claimed he attacked her in the 1990s when they attended Columbia University. She said that after she reported it, the university placed him on probation but never expelled him.

Marcellus denied the claims, but last year, two more accusers came forward with similar stories. They each said that Columbia failed to take their complaints seriously.

According to a new court filing reviewed by Rolling Stone, four additional women have now come forward with allegations spanning from the 1990s up until 2009. They all claim that Columbia University failed to properly investigate the complaints filed against him. They say the school allegedly enabled him to “enjoy a reputation of safety, respect, and integrity, thereby endangering women.” The new accusers are seeking class action status alongside the other women who have come forward.

Two of the new accusers claim he assaulted them in the ’90s after Columbia had already placed Marcellus on probation. Another Jane Doe alleges that the former NFL player groomed her when she was just 13 years old. She said it started when he played for the Buffalo Bills and visited her middle school.

According to the filing, Marcellus allegedly gave the teenager his email address and began inviting her and her family over to his home, showering them with free NFL tickets. Over the years, she said a future with Marcellus became her “whole identity.” When she turned 18, she claims he flew her to Dallas and allegedly raped her.

The fourth accuser in this latest filing is a former ESPN assistant. She says Marcellus allegedly lured her into a hotel room in 2009 and sexually assaulted her.

“He pushed me up against the windows of the room so hard I thought they would shatter,” she wrote in a statement. “I was petrified and believed I was going to be killed.”

The common thread in this case is that the accusers believe Columbia University could have stopped this in the 1990s but failed to act. If a court grants class action status, both Marcellus and the university would be named as defendants. They have a hearing on May 12.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It is streaming on Peacock.
