Kylie Kelce has a very simple vision for the perfect Mother’s Day, and it does not include fancy gifts or over-the-top surprises. During the latest episode of the “New Heights” podcast, the mother of four shared exactly how she wants to spend the special day while husband Jason Kelce quickly took mental notes.
Kylie Kelce details her version of perfect Mother’s Day and Jason is quick to take notes
Kylie joined Jason and Travis Kelce for a Mother’s Day-themed segment on the Wednesday, May 6 episode of the podcast. When Travis asked whether the family already had plans for the holiday, Kylie answered with a straight-faced “No,” before laughing at Jason’s shocked reaction.
“What? We always do something special on Mother’s Day!” Jason insisted.
The conversation quickly turned into a hilarious exchange when the brothers asked Kylie to describe her ideal celebration. The 34-year-old admitted she loved what they did last year and said brunch remained at the top of her wish list.
“Last Mother’s Day was great. We got some brunch, and I love brunch,” Kylie said.
Jason immediately grabbed a notepad and jokingly asked for more details. Kylie then revealed the one thing she truly wants this year: silence.
“I want 20 minutes of silence,” she shared with a laugh.
Jason admitted that the request might prove difficult since the couple shares four young daughters, Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finn, 1.
Kylie explained that she wanted a relaxing brunch at a restaurant so she would not have to clean up afterward. After that, she planned to spend 20 quiet minutes outside while the rest of the family stayed indoors.
“I want food that I don’t have to clean up after,” she said.
The mother of four revealed which classic Mother’s Day traditions she does not enjoy. She quickly rejected the idea of breakfast in bed or a backrub from her retired NFL star husband.
“To be fair, his fingers don’t bend anymore,” Kylie joked. “We recently called his hands ‘man mitts.’”
Jason added another funny parenting moment by recalling how one of their daughters complained about his rough fingernails during a bedtime back scratch.
The lighthearted conversation gave listeners another glimpse into the couple’s relatable family life and playful chemistry.
